Originated the title role of Mary Poppins on Broadway, earning Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle nominations, after making her Broadway debut as Belle in Beauty and the Beast. She has also played Mother Abbess in the national tour of The Sound of Music, Laurey in Oklahoma!, and Magnolia in Show Boat at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Emily Hobbs in Elf on Broadway, with concert appearances alongside the Boston Pops, the New York Philharmonic, and the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall.

Originated Enjolras in the original Broadway production of Les Misérables, winning the 1987 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical, along with the Drama Desk and Theatre World Awards. He reprised the role at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the "Dream Cast" for the show's 10th anniversary, broadcast worldwide on PBS, and starred as Count Carl-Magnus in A Little Night Music at New York City Opera. He has performed as a soloist with more than 250 symphony orchestras.

Award-winning singer, actor, and storyteller whose work spans musical theatre, jazz, cabaret, and classical music, having collaborated with artists including Rita Moreno, Michael Tilson Thomas, and the Bang on a Can All-Stars. He received the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for Best Performance in a Musical for his portrayal of Sid Sorokin in The Pajama Game, with additional nominations for Thoroughly Modern Millie and Show Boat. He made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2021 as part of the Voices of Hope festival, and his voice has been heard on the soundtracks for Halo and Civilization.

Other works include Benny & Joon (Old Globe; San Diego Critics Award nominee, Best Musical), Maiden Voyage (Southwark Playhouse), Witnesses (San Diego Critics Award, Best Production), Toy Story: The Musical (Disney), and Trip (Playwrights Horizons). A Jonathan Larson Award winner, her songs have been performed worldwide and developed at Goodspeed, Rhinebeck, and TheatreWorks Silicon Valley.

Critically acclaimed composer, pianist, and musicologist (notably the architect of Pandora Radio's Music Genome Project), Nolan Gasser holds a Ph.D. in Musicology from Stanford. His compositions have been performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Theatrical works include Benny & Joon (Old Globe; Papermill Playhouse) and The Secret Garden, commissioned by San Francisco Opera. His bestselling book Why You Like It: The Science and Culture of Musical Taste is the basis of a PBS special airing across the U.S.

Recent opera productions include Sondheim's Company touring France (Théâtre du Châtelet), the world premiere of Albouker's L'Archipel(s) at L'Opéra Comique, Bernstein's Candide at Welsh National Opera, and Abrahamsen's Snow Queen at Opéra national du Rhin. Dance collaborations include Dutch National Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Canadian National Ballet, and Scottish National Ballet.
